"I am originally from Southern California, however I am forth generation Silver Citian. I moved from Laguna Hills, California where I worked in management for 15 years in the marketing industry and managed 150 part-time employees in three different states for 13 of those 15 years. Feeling like life was passing me bye, I decided to move to Silver City in 1999, hoping to find a more relaxed lifestyle. Guess what? I found it and I have no regrets! I have no children, but six wonderful dogs, Madison, Cheyenne, Cody, Blu, Striker and Sophie. The first several years here in Silver City were spent working in our family owned restaurant called the Silver Spoon Eatery. Since 2004, I have been privileged to assist many folks with all of their real estate needs. Over the last several years I have served on our local Regional MLS Board as Vice President, President. I have also received the Honor Society Award at Prudential for the last several years. In 2009, Silver City Regional Association of Realtors voted me “Realtor of the Year”. I also volunteer for the Tyrone Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department as an EMT/Firefighter/Auxiliary. For the last two years, I have been the EMS Coordinator and was recently awarded the EMT-B (basic) of the Year for Region II. "Graduating from college Magna Cum Laude in the Midwest, I have had a number of interesting careers, including teaching high school several years and at Luther College in Decorah a couple of summers. From there, I became a counselor for the State of Iowa in Cedar Falls. Moving to the Twin Cities I worked for 3M Co headquarters in St. Paul as a Market Coordinator, where I discovered my love of selling. I started my real estate career in 1976 with Edina Realty in Mpls/StP where I worked for over 18 years. Then to beautiful Silver City! My first trip to Silver City was in the mid 1970’s to visit my Grandparents. Our family fell in love with the area. I moved to Silver City in 1980 after graduating college. I have 23 years experience as a civil engineering technician. My jobs included drafting, surveying, construction inspection, subdivision review, city utility design and city planning.
